1. What’s higher?-Observe some different things around your home for this such as the roof and the driveway, the trees and the grass, the heavens (sky) and earth, etc. What is higher of each pair? Read Isaiah 55:9. Talk about Gods ways and thoughts in comparison to ours.
2. Fair Chores-Select a chore that many can share in (dishwasher, sweeping, trash, etc.) On slips of paper, write 0, 2, and 5 minute delay (more as needed). Explain that all will get a reward for completing the chore. Then hand out the slips to everyone. The person with 0 starts the task and set a timer for the next person to join in and so on. When the task is done, hand out the same reward to everyone. Discuss what this feels like. Discuss God’s amazing grace for all and the gift that it is no matter when they come to Him.
