1. Gifts of Baptism-Talk about the gifts of Baptism (see Acts 2:38-39 to start). Create a gift box then glue words or letters onto the box reminding you of each gift of Baptism. Display the gift box for a week or two in your home.
2. Bail Out-Put one person in “jail” stating that this is the consequence for their sin (if this would be stressful for your children, have an adult in jail). Have everyone collect anything they can think of to “pay” for their “bail.” (e.g. money, food, performing skills, valuable items, etc.) Reject everything offered. Read 1 Peter 1:18-19 and discuss how each of us is redeemed/bought back/bailed out.
3. In Plain Sight-Put something that doesn’t belong on your clothes (such as a sticker, clothespin, hair accessory, etc.) without letting anyone know about it. Go on a walk together. As you go, talk about how no one noticed your extra piece that was in plain sight and how Jesus experienced that too on the road to Emmaus.
