1. Crown of Splendor-Make a crown. Read Isaiah 61:3. Talk about what it means that you will be a crown of splendor in God’s hand.
2. Just the Right Time-Choose a time to do something (eat a treat, play a game together, etc.) Either name the exact minute or set a timer to denote the time. Then wait together. While you wait talk about how God promised to send a Savior to redeem us and He did send Him at just the right time. When your time is right, do the thing you planned to do.
3. What do you see?-Search ambiguous images online. (Images that look like two different things.) As you look at them, ask what each person sees. Talk about when Jesus was presented at the temple—some people just saw a baby but Simeon and Anna saw the long-awaited Savior.
