Nothing Doing
Eighth Sunday after Pentecost: Epistle, Ephesians 1:3-14
Ephesians 1:3-14
So many great hymns there are extolling the grace of God. I believe that this week’s epistle reading could be seen as the foundation stone for many. Just a basic summary of our reading this morning with the hope that you will go back to read and reread this text again and again before worship on Sunday. Here’s the summary: We do nothing to contribute to our salvation. In procuring, strengthening, or sustaining it. The work is the Lord’s and He has left nothing out.
God be praised!
