First Sunday in Lent: Psalm, Psalm 32:1-7                              

Psalm 32:1-7 

Psalm 32 is a rejoicing Psalm. As we begin the more somber season of Lent, we have said goodbye to our “Alleluias” for the time being. But Psalm 32 presents a shout. And it is a shout of deliverance. We are a freed people. I say “freed” because we have not always been. Conceived and born in the sin of our first father, Adam, we are redeemed and set free by the last Adam, our Lord Jesus Christ. Therein is a real reason to shout. Enough said.
