Just a short comment on this lovely Psalm, one of the Psalms of Ascent which carried the Old Testament people to Zion. In my former life as a hospice chaplain, this was my favorite to use at committal services at the cemetery. What marvelous things are spoken here. Read it. But more than read, breathe it in. Say of our God that “He is my help.”
