Acts 2:14a, 22-36

This week our dear friend, the apostle Peter continues his preaching on Pentecost. The gift of the Spirit has been given. He has made comments on the what and why. In today’s lesson Peter gets to the Who. And not only the one person of the Trinity called the Holy Spirit. Here Peter in a single verse points to the reality of the triune God. Read verse 33 where you will find our God who is a community, a family of sorts. The “exalted One” at the Father’s right hand has poured out this third-person Gift. It’s all there or better, He’s all there. In one small package. The glory of the Triune Deity made “plain.” Plain neither means easy nor simple. But always worthy of our worship.
